A stellar performance from State Opera.
For the 2015/16 season, State Opera SA had a focus on retention and acquisition.
They needed a campaign that would not only maintain the current supporter base, but attract new subscribers.
Our response to this brief was to create an overarching season strategy and theme that would help introduce opera to a wider audience.
Working closely with the client we developed ‘Opera. Evolve’, a new campaign inspired by the season theme of evolution.
The campaign featured images of figures cocooned in fabric: characters from each of the four main operas, as well as an overall season image. This provided the ability to promote either the season as a whole, or individual operas as required.
The campaign consisted of print, digital, outdoor and the 2016 season brochure.
The season debut of The Magic Flute was sold out, and the world premiere of Cloudstreet was extremely successful.
Halfway through, the 2015/16 season is set to exceed all expectations.
