- STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
Helping a State in transition.
With the demise of the automotive manufacturing industry in Northern Adelaide, serious concerns were raised over South Australia’s future and socioeconomic wellbeing.
The SA Government’s Northern Economic Plan was the blueprint that would build a sustainable future for the community and economy of the region.
The challenge was to engage with a large and complex network of stakeholders to articulate the Government’s plan.
These diverse groups included SA Government, three local councils, business, and industry and communities both in Northern Adelaide and greater South Australia
A Change Management Marketing strategy was used to encourage support of the plan and involve stakeholders in an authentic and inclusive way through community consultation.
Key messages included:
- A sustainable future: business and employment opportunities.
- The development of a plan to move forward.
- Collaboration between state and local government, communities, industry and business.
- The strong foundations of the Northern Adelaide manufacturing tradition and determination of the people.
A new plan name (Look North) and design, brand guidelines, collateral and merchandise were developed and implemented.
We provided material for successful industry and community stakeholder engagement programs.
Look North was launched and positively received across government, media and stakeholder groups.
